“Mid Tempo, MIdwest, Mid smokers”: Hospital job is the Band of the Month

Matt Rundle | September 10, 2018

The 217 staple, Hospital Job, is back and better than ever. A couple years have passed since their split with Capitalist Kids and their sound has evolved and grown. This Springfield pop punk quartet released their first LP in 2012 and have released three other LP’s leading up to the release of “Haze Like Me” about a week ago. They have been on the road lately rattling off shows in the midwest including Chicago, Columbus, and Dayton. Hospital Job is also booked to play The Fest in Gainesville, Florida in October alongside local favorites Starter Jackets, Attic Salt, and Nectar. Be on the lookout for more from these guys this year and years to come!

Their newest LP “Haze Like Me” is out now and available everywhere. Check out their other releases on Spotify and iTunes as well as on their Bandcamp at hospitaljob.bandcamp.com. You can listen to “Haze Like Me” below.
