King Khancept to Headline First Hip-Hop Show in Apollo Theatre's History

Peoria rap and hip-hop artist King Khancept announced via Facebook today that he will be headlining the first-ever hip-hop show at the historic Apollo Theatre in Peoria early next year (see the full post below).

On January 13, Khancept and fellow artists Passport Louis, Couri Cartier, Best Kept, Davis Mauricano, and Jachion Johnson will bring their talents to the stage at the Apollo. Currently signed to Green Shoe Records, Khancept also opened for Nelly on the Peoria Riverfront this past summer. Running on the success of his debut EP released earlier this year, Khancept has garnered a strong base of local support and, according to the artist himself, will be performing new music at the show.
